Spring term newsletter

Dear Parents/carers,
January has flown by! As we move into February, let us begin with:

Dates for your diary
Wakefield Schools will be closed for half term w/c 13th February; anyone requiring holiday care for their child should inform a member of staff.
Please note that the Early Years Free Entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year old’s does not apply out of term time and therefore full fees are applicable.
The same will apply during the two weeks that schools will be closed for the Easter holidays. (10/04/17 – 21/04/17)
The nursery will be closed on:
Easter Monday 17th April 2017
Early Spring Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 2017
Spring Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2017
As always – the nursery will be open as normal on Good Friday 14th April 2017.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids
We are once again collecting the Active Kids vouchers from Sainsbury’s this year. We are only sent 1 collection box and this will once again be in the annex. Just pass any vouchers to a member of staff and we will gladly take them over for you.

Staffing & Baby news
Further to our last newsletter, we would like to update you on our current staffing in regards to maternity leave. Both Sarah and Nicola are enjoying time with their boys, Teddy and Freddie respectively.
We would like to welcome Catt back to the nursery after her maternity leave last year, even though it will only be temporary – as she is now expecting her second child later in the year! Whilst here, she will be working throughout the nursery depending on where she is needed. And last – but not least – BIG congratulations to Casey in the annex who is now our next expectant first time mother. We are raining babies here at Rainbow! Watch out everyone – it could be you next! Hahahaha  

Policies & procedures
As per our last newsletter, the brochure has been fully updated and any applicable changes have been made. The annual policies & procedures documents have all been revised and reviewed accordingly and are available for you to read and look through if you so wish, but this would have to be done on nursery premises.
