2014 review
Whoooooooooooosh! Where has 2014 gone?
With the year nearly at its end we would like to look back at the fun we’ve had in nursery.
One of the highlights has to be the visit from the firefighters of Ossett Fire Station. BIG thank you to them for that.
The children loved seeing and climbing into the fire engine, trying on the helmets AND getting to squirt the hose!
What fun, all whilst learning about people who help us.
The children in the Annex enjoyed dressing up as Superheroes and Princesses, raising £150 for one of our chosen children’s charities.
The Summer was tinged with a little sadness when we had to say farewell to all our children leaving for school. We gave them a good send off at our annual leavers picnic and everyone enjoyed the bouncy castle – especially the staff! Hahaha
We had our usual photography day with some beautiful pictures being taken of our fabulous children and most recently we enjoyed a tactile/hands on visit from a ZooLab Ranger who brought lots of different mini-beasts and insects for the children to see, meet and hold. Photographs can be viewed on our Facebook page.
More excitement to come with Christmas just around the corner. Looking forward to seeing all their little faces as we start to trim up the nursery soon.
Best wishes everyone from The Rainbow Team
